The EGG HUNT is back on! Starting May 23 - May 31. Please use the social distancing guidelines, stay safe and smart, and have fun!
Radiate Art Space & the Richmond Free Library have collaborated in making story book-themed eggs this year, and we invite the community to participate in The Great Big Richmond Egg Hunt!
Find your favorite book characters on the 30 large paper mache eggs that will be hidden all over Richmond village, decorated by Radiate volunteers.
Please respect the social distancing order put in place by the Governor of Vermont! Do not approach an egg if you see others gathered around it - wait until they have moved on before you continue your search. Please use the 6 foot rule as a minimum distance guideline. You will not need to to touch the eggs — the story characters will be visible from a distance.
The eggs will be hidden between the walkable area from the Round Church to the Richmond Elementary School / Camels Hump Middle School, including the river walking trail on Volunteers green. (See the map below)
Please do not go in construction zones -- all eggs will be placed on the west side of Bridge Street away from the section they are working on.
Each egg has a picture with a different storybook character. When you find an egg, check if off on the Radiate Egg Hunt Checklist. You can print out a checklist here or use this google form.
For a chance to win a gift card, submit the Egg Hunt google form by 8pm on Monday June 1 to be entered in the drawing. Alternatively, you can post a picture of your favorite egg or story to your Facebook or Instagram account and tag us @Radiateartspace.
