This is Community - Mural Project 2024

Richmond Town Center

Radiate Art Space murals are the result of a collaborative process. This year's theme of community was met with creativity by many artists, including students from Richmond area school programs. We hope that the creation and viewing of the murals cultivates a sense of unity and belonging, and adds to the Town Center's pleasant feeling for all community members.

“Untitled”

Elliot Freebern

My online friends and I used to have a community Minecraft  server, we would all play together every day and connect across  the world. This work is a picture of my friend in my in-game house with a sign they put up because I really loved the  community we had on the server and how we could have fun  together even though we were in different states and countries  and timezones.

“Forest Log”

Audrey Hollocher

When a tree falls decomposing nutrients become the home to  many living things: mushrooms, creatures, moss, flowers and  trees.

“It is”

Leonora Kelsh

We all watch out for each other in a community even in tough  times

“Hearts and Rainbow Community”

Eldin and Leah

People have hearts. The heart symbolizes togetherness and  being kind. The rainbow shows different types of feelings.

"Richmond Farmers Market"

Lane DiCocco and Viviane Parks

We all know that the Farmers Market is a big part of the  Richmond Community. We are showing images of many different  people to show how inclusive our community is. Richmond  includes everyone. We appreciate everyone. Everyone is  different, and that's the beauty of Richmond and the world.

"Animals in Community"

Molly Roberts

Everyone can be friends in a community together. Animals are  also part of our community.

"Camping"
